It's father's day today...Happy Father's Day to any dads out there! You rock! We went to Grandma's and then to S--------. (I'm being very careful here! NO last names or towns or stuff like that, and I try to use nicknames whenever possible) It was pretty fun, but I would have enjoyed s-------- a lot more if we'd stopped occasionally just to watch the people go by. People watching is one of my favorite pass-times. I like to wonder about people's lives, and make up totally absurd ones for them (See that guy over there pushing that baby stroller? He's really a member of the Mofia, and that's not a baby, it's a remote controlled survelince camera!) It's a lot of fun. I also like mocking people. Probably not good, but just glances or whispered "What was she thinking? WAS she thinking?" to a friend can be a great time to spend the afternoon, especially in a big city with lots of tourists. I hate being a tourist! I wish I was a native everywhere, so I didn't have to look like a tourist! I try to determine who is a tourist and who is a native, but it's not always easy. I try not to look too touristy, as much as I can, but with my parents, that's not always easy. ~me~ at 9:14 PM
