So, I just got back (Well, yesterday...) from a 30 hour famine. It was pretty fun! I really feel more aware of the hunger in the world. While I was in line for lunch today, I was thinking how amazing it is that there's all this food around, and I can just choose what I want. I looked over at the mexican bar today, and nothing looked good, so I got veggies and rice instead. Seems simple, right? But how freaking astonishing it is that I can think a food doesn't look good, and eat something else instead? So many people don't have those options. Some people would fight for the food I throw away each day. I am so lucky.

On a lighter note, I liked the group that we went to raise food, money, and awareness with. We were just rocking out to cheesy techo music in the back of Cyndi's jeep and having fun and being stupid. In general, I think that group activites work the best when either everyone knows everyone well or no one knows any one. If most people know each other really well and there are just a few people who dont' really know anyone, it's just not as fun.

Whee! We also went to GLP!! It was so awesome! There will soon be more (lots more) about this over at my other blog. ~me~ at 2:29 PM
