Yeah, another meme. What can I say? Found this one at this blog.

Book: Tree Girl, Ben Mikaelson. Text: Even with the feeding of the pigs, Mami taught me to be kind. Discussion: Kindness is a good thing. Even if people are doing things that you might not do -- I've never fed the pigs -- spell their names funny, or asscociate with people you might not, you should be kind to them. Everyone will like you better if you're kind then if you're mean and nasty. See someone on the street? Don't walk away, give them a buck or two. What's the difference it'll make in the long run? Yeah, they might just spend it on booze or ciggarets, but you've probably made their day, and in giving, you just might have made your own day. The only sure way to guarentee happiness is to make yourself happy. Don't wait for others to do what you want them to, do what you want to do, and do it with joy and with abandon. We're only alive for a short amount of time, and we should spend that time doing what inspires us, makes us feel passionate, fills us with fire. Don't waste your time or mine, for that's what you'll be doing if you behave like a mindless drone. (Feel free to add your own thoughts on my comments board {hint, hint})
