I'm sure that many people who see my blog saw the jibjab cartoon. If you haven't, go watch it! Wicked funny! Anyway, this cartoon was recently featured in my local paper! (See a scan here)I felt a strange thrill that, thanks to my fellow bloggers, I'd known about something before it hit the newspaper. I like being on top of the news, but it's even cooler to know about something before it becomes news. It's kind of like listening to a band for a while, and then having them suddenly become famous. It's gratifing to be able to stand back and say, "Ha! I knew about _____ before you did! Go me!"
